Pat was that the race Greg Hill, Brent Patterson and company were at? I remember seeing Greg Hill race the first time, watching him spin down to the first turn just in shock at how fast he could spin the cranks.

This fall I found a stash of old shirts, mostly little kid sizes from the CR/Iowa City tracks, if anyone is interested.
I have the white shirt with the yellow schoolbus logo on the front for the IC track, too.
Also a 1991 Mongoose tour shirt signed by the guys including Fuzzy.

I too would love to see photos from that race.

Alright all you Iowa guys, its time to put together an Iowa thread like the MN version. I'm sure allot of us MN riders will participate. I know I will.

I was at just about every Iowa track and raced Waterloo as my 2nd home track, so I know allot of riders and faces.

This thread has the proper start since Kar City was Mecca for Iowa. There is a very neat letter to BMXA from Don C. in one of the early mags and many Kar City ads in those early issues.

That shirt would not fit one of my legs now.

Pat, I have one of the programs that they had printed up for that race. I will try to scan it sometime so you can look at it. Do you have any pictures from any of the races at D&N Raceway?
I have a ton of pictures that I will go though and see if I can post some of them.
Are you sure that shirt will fit over your leg?

No I don't have any but I was at bryan cassatt's house one time and he did. I miss D&N raceway.
