Here's mine.... At 1st when Brian told me what it was i thought that it was pretty rare....
Since then i've done alot of looking for this type of thing and off the top of my head i can recall about 10 or 12 of these oddities.... So if you have a round tube PK or a Race-Inc with a teardrop top tube etc please post em up!! This will be interesting to find out how many of these are out there.. Thanks for looking!

WOW! THOSE ARE RAD MATE!
meatpie
That's a Race-Inc on the top with a Cycle Pro Foiler top tube and Cycle Pro/FMF dropouts...
I forgot to discribe it in my 1st post..
Just a regular old loop PK on the bottom...
Thanks to Brian Hays for setting it straight about my Race-Inc which at 1st i thought it was a Cycle Pro Foiler.... Because it has the shorter seat stay gusset than the Cycle Pro and it also has a RA serial # it is a Race Inc... Cycle Pro Foilers don't have a Serial #

The top tube was the first thing I noticed on that meatpie. I love that thing! I want one like that.
BRIAN HAYS
Actually Scotty, Foilers do have a serial on the BB shell. Here's my round top Tube PK and my Foiler tubed Race Inc. Original paint and decals with a RA serial number. I also just sold another one of these that had the FMF drops and welded lug but also had the short gusset and came from the original owner.

BTW, I might have said this before but the strangest thing about your Race Inc is the fact that it has the FMF dropouts AND a serial number. All the Race Inc's I've had with FMF drops had no serial number.
pk ripped
Heres my '79 PK with FMF drops. Its the only one I have seen outside of the PK that was tested in the November 1979 issue of bmx plus.

Same frame going the other way...

...the other caption option was...how two PKs have a mini ripper, lol.
BRIAN HAYS
Notice his Round top tube JU6 in the back ground too. He must have forgot he had that one.
pquinnbmx
aluminum rampar
BRIAN HAYS
Yep, that frame was only ever marketed as a Raleigh Rampar and a Laguna. It's bigger than a RA8 but smaller than a RA7.
PEP
what about that polished frame I sent ya w/o the brake bridge Brian?
BRIAN HAYS
Long gone, I'm afraid. It was a victim of the GTO fund.
race_inc
I have an RA-8 with the FMF dropouts and serial number.

...Mr. Bastian was clearly a madman!!!
Curt
Dig the aluminum frames!

Meatpie, does your frame have the welded lug?

Brian, those are nice, they appear new.

PKripped, finally get to see some Rush posters. heh heh heh... (Oh the frames....Wow)

pquinnbmx, ever compare that frame to a PK? My eye sez the specs might be the same.
pquinnbmx
I never did put it up next to a PK.
BRIAN HAYS
Curt, pquinn's frame is smaller than a PK. The Race Inc RA10 was the same frame as the PK. His has a shorter top tube and a little steeper rear triangle angle than the PK.
Sodbuster
He also made these frames too!
meatpie
That Kawasaki is sweet Sir Sodbuster!!! It's been a dream of mine to have the 3 bikes brought out by the motocycle companies... Kawasaki , Suzuki & Yamaha... I know that you've got em!!
And no Curt mine doesn't have the welded lug on it.
Scotty
k-lo.
Heres an old one of mine..

BRIAN HAYS
Wow k-lo, the ever so infamous UK shipment of PK Rippers with Race Inc decals installed and shipped as RA10's. I would kill for one of those. Did you sell that on Ebay a few months ago? Whats the serial number on this one if you don't mind me asking?
BRIAN HAYS
Here's a strange one. The original SE Basher was a chromoly looptail that was the same geometry as the loop PK. SE decided they should have an alloy version too so they decalled Race Inc RA7's up as Bashers. Bashers were later introduced again in the "SE by Team Murray" line. This frame is true NOS. PK Ripped has owned it since the mid 90's or so. Hope he doesn't mind me sharing it.
