Bought this bike several years ago and it had these bars on it in the same condition as you see them now. The frame set is a Pro Racer pre-serial #. The bars are definitely not Pro size bars, as I have a few sets in candy apple red & blue that are much larger. These measure approximately 25" in width and about 7 - 7 1/2" in total rise. Possibly Expert bars?

That is a clean bike. Can anyone date that DK Stem as well. I've got one like it, just wondering what age it would be, I also have an earlier one with the square corners. Sorry not trying to hi-jack your thread. They are indeed early expert bars. Nice bike!

Sounds like several think they are Expert bars. That is what I was hoping, just haven't really ever seen any Expert Racers with these size bars.

Regarding the DK stem, I have no idea of what year those came out. I bought it a few years back and thought it looked good on the ride. Only thing I don't like is that you can't put a Cal-Lite stem pad around it, 'cuz it's too long.
