I'm an "early to bed, early to rise" kind of guy. I typically go to bed around 8pm and get up around 3am. It's the only way I get uninterrupted time to do paperwork / etc. (I own my own small business)

Well over the last few years I've taken notice that the vintage BMX section tends to be more active in the early morning hours than the vintage freestyle section.

Does this speak volumes about the fundamental difference between old school bmx'ers and freestylers?

Its 12:45 at night (er morning?) here in New Zealand. I really should be in bed.

That is bcause us "racers" are up training for the next race hittin the stairmaster and doin situps. Well they are me i am usually drinking coffe watching cartoons, on saturday.

up every morning about 5:45am, to bed from 9:00-11:00 pm, i own a small business also and in the morning it is paper work, ( or vintagebmx.com)
depends on the mood.....

11:30-5:30 are my sleep hours. If I sleep more than 6.5 hours then I wake up with a mindgraine and it will last all day!.

As I tour with bands I tend to go to bed around 2-3am and get up after about 6hrs or so, I always have to stay in touring shape, I'm out with Bob Seger right now so it's hotels and tour busses for the nex few months. We have wireless internet on the bus so I can be online anytime.

My excuse is this:

Our daughter is in the middle of the terrible 2's right now. Refuses to sleep through the night. So after I comfort her, I go to V until I make sure she stays asleep. HONEST!

But I am definitely an early riser. I'm usually online around 5:30am every day. I was online at 3:30am this morning...and if my little princess won't sleep tonight, I'll be on here many more times....like 2:15, 3:45, 4:40, 5:30am.....

Mike you and I must have been seperated at birth, because a lot of the threads you start are EXACTLY the types of things that go through my mind....

I'm going to watch a little bit of the Wake/FSU game....I'll be back on in a few....
