didn't Robinson and/or Powerlite get into the square-ish chainstays around mid-school? I'd guess one of those.

I'd say your guessing in the right direction, Profiler.
Looks new school (mid 90's - present is new school to me!!!) Powerlite-ish.
All these newer aluminum frames look like there made in the same factory to me, regardless of brand.

from photos at bmx museum, it doesnt seem to be a powerlite frame.
Anyone else?

yeah, the front gusseting is a tip-off to somebody.
I'm miles from expert in that era, but those gussets look pretty specific to me.
I would have to dig out my older Danscomp catalogs to guess better. I think Haro did some alum work in that genre' around 90'ish also.
Is there any ser# or markings?

I wouldnt say its a Haro.
Haro race frames usually have that original bend where the top tube meets the seat tube (group 1) even the aluminum models.
This frame isnt mine so I dont have any more info on it.

The gusset on the down tube looks like free agent but the rest of it doesn't, what about a SN#

check out the mid school Diamond backs, they made alot of aluminum frames that look like this one...I wanna say it looks a little like a Franco Frame...But, not sure...I would check out Diamond back though!! You know what...GT also made some frames that looked like this one a little bit...check both Diamond back, and GT

I have a Mosh frame almost identical to this one. The only difference is the gusset behind the BB. The rest is identical. Maybe a Giant produced frame for someone else???
