Weird seeing that frameset style with the freestyle decals on it.

Well I dont know if it was a good deal as I really gave quite a bit for it but I wanted it pretty bad as I likie the unique frame designs like Profile, VDC, GJS, and the CW lightening frames . I got to looking and it looks as if this one has been repaired between the top tube and the seat mast but the weld has been tig welded and looks very similar to the original one I think if it was rechromed it would not even be noticable . as far as the stickers anybody know where I can get a set of repops originals or like the ones its got doesnt matter. even a scan would be great. Thanks, Scott

Killer score! What bars are those? They look tall.

I remember those tires.Specialized Tri-Cross.They were the hot thing in '84.The hubs laced to those Aero rims look like they might be Specialized also.Sweet sealed hubs.I still have a pair.
standardracer
The hubs are specialized as are the tri cross tires hubs are smooth as butter but they have alot of broken spokes in the wheels I am going to have them relaced the chrome on the aero wheels are pretty good except for where the brake rub was.

The upper chainstays extend farther onto the dropout then the other A-frames, must be one of the last made with two brace tubes. To bad its been rewelded..... Nice score anyways, congrats.

That is one of the GjS A84 frames! re-release of the 2 tube gusset A frame in 1984, notice where the seat stays meet the seat tube and the later decals!! The earlier A frames didn't have the little radius on the seat stays at the seat tube junction. Pretty rare frameset.

Thanks bro , so I guess it has the proper frame decals??
standardracer
anybody else on the serial #'s thanks SK
