Hello everybody I know that these are Hutch forks and US style but what I cant figure out is if they were originally ones with the front brake hole or did they come originally without the front brake hole? I took some pictures and I looked in the archives to try to find an answer but came up with nothing. I am guessing because of the placement of the holes that these came with no brake hole originally as the top one looks really high compared to all the pictures of others I have seen and the bottom is really low with barely a 1/16” amount between the hole and the bottom of the fork. Also the holes look crooked to me. I also took a picture of the vent holes on the bottom if this help in the I.D. of them. Thanks alot I appreciate any help I can get.

Those were orig. no holes. The top one IS too high, they weren't like that. Those are the basic forks that came on the Speed Unltd. bikes.

yeah, neither of those holes is factory.

Nice restoration job! They should look good as new when you are all finished.
