Here's a shot of the '84 Skyway TA-XL I restored. let me know what you think.
'84 Skyway TA-XL frame and fork, freshly white powder coated.
Fresh Skyway TA-XL decals installed.
GT bars freshly white powder coated.
Tuf-Neck.
A'ME grips
Dia-Compe MX-1000 brake, lever, and dated cable.
Skyway Tuff pads
My actual Zeronine # plate that I ran in '84. It is exactly as I took it off my TA-XL back in '84. It looks right at home again.
All three Skyway Cal-lite pads. Sten pad is the one with out the cable grommet that you always see now.
New Skyway Graphites with Kool Caps added for retro look and feel.
Cheng Shin knobbies.
ABA Rad caps
GT seat post
Elina saddle
Suntour Clamp
Redline 401's 180mm
KKT pedals
Redline sprocket 41T with bubble logo
Suntour 16T freewheel.
Thanks for looking!

Thumper, I never pegged you for a collector/restoration guy on the bike side of things, didn't figure you had the time quite honestly.
But I have to admit that is a nice Rebuild. Here is a question, Which came first, Maui and son using the Four geometric patterns or Zeronine. Who coppied Who?

I would think Zeronine was first, not sure though. STU, we gotta ahng out more. I've done several bikes over the years. Must the time I build them and sell them off. The build is part of the fun. I stumble on to lots of parts and bikes in all my travels. I started colecting way back in' 89. I have had ton's of stuff over the years.

Nice! I've got all the parts for my T/A, now I just need to build it! Maybe over Thanksgiving.
I need that "holeless" stem pad! I had one awhile ago and sold it - now I need another one.
Looks great. The T/A always look classy to me.

Sweet job...I think the nice thing is, using a part(s) from your original ride from bitd, adds a bit of sentimental value..Love it.

Nice ride Thumper.
Looks ready for the track.
I have always loved the white frames. From any manufacturer. Nothing better than a clean white bike.

wow... that looks soooo sweet! The Graphites with flange covers really make that thing look like a very serious racer from the 80's.
