Original decals and the black chrome is perfect! I'm afraid to even get finger prints on it!

Hey but uh...1982? I thought the proclass came out in 1983.

Yeah...I can't believe how perfect the chrome is! I'm still amazed!

This is my 2nd 1982 Pro Class now. Someone had said that they were made in late 1982.

I have the first tests in BMX Plus! & BMX Action somewhere.
Late 82 sounds right to me.

The first complete Pro Class had a one-piece stamped Mongoose Takagi 180mm crank, Mongoose stamped (Takagi) chainwheel.
It also had the ACS-made 'Pro Class' stem but the first lot did not have Pro Class stamped on them - they had 'Mongoose'.

Yep...that's right Andy. Here is that survivor 1982 Pro Class I have and it did come with the "Mongoose" stem.
