FL BMX COP
Here's a pic of my just completed PK resto. I was trying to keep the look as late 70's, early 80's as possible.

Looptail PK Ripper frame (Thanks to Rod Miles for the seat tube, dropout repair).
Cycle Pro Forks w/ BMX Innovations stickers
Tuf Neck Stem
Fluted "butterfly" bars
Hatta alloy headset
Oakley 1 grips
Shimano Tourney brake/lever/cable.
Mathauser finned brake pads
Weinmann 7b style rims
Dura Ace Black Series high flange track hubs
80g spokes 4x
Cycle Pro style 1.75 rear tire
Cheng Shin 2.125 front tire
Sugino sealed bb
Dura Ace cranks 170mm w/1 key release
MKS pedals
44t Takagi front sprocket
16t Shimano freewheel
Shimano UG chain
Excalibur seatpost clamp
Uni "hammerhead" seat

Took the shot outside to try and compete with Towne's Stroker shot in the Autumn leaves! It's still about 85 here in Miami, and I'm still mowing the grass once a week!

NICE Greg!! You see alot of tan PKs in 1979/80 for some reason. Very vintage and correct for the era. That thing is perfect IMO. Well done, hope to see it at rockford maybe.
BenOr
Nice use of Dura Ace!
DAN
I would commit a felony for those hubs! Great build, that's what it's all about right there!
z-man99
Classy build. Every single part.

That color is a welcome change from the usual. A Riding buddy of mine in 1979 had the same color, brings it all back.

Those rims and hubs very era correct for high end trickerey (PK had the same hubs with 7C) in 1979.

Good job.
BRIAN HAYS
That thing needs to be in the 07 calender for sure.

PK,
I'll try and get some more pictures posted this weekend. My digital camera wasn't taking too good of shots indoors, so I'm gonna try another camera. You and Bbohlmann should like my next project; a Looptail Quad. It's currently being worked on by Rod Miles, and it is next to go to the painter just as soon as i get it.
