I have found a person that is supposed to have a Cooks Brothers frame. I don't know any about these frames and was wondering if there was any specific details that would tell me that it is a Cooks frame? I looked at BMX museum and saw a pictures and all I can tell is that it looks like a loop tail Mongoose with the gusset punched with the hole. Sorry no pictures available as of yet.

post pics, or a ser#, look for really good chrome.

Serial # AABMX 8493 Thats it... Now what is it. I know it is not a Cooks Bros, so what is it.

I also picked up a DG Mini with a frozen seat post and a Original Yamaha Moto, thing still has original tires on it.

Sorry that I did not do alittle more research. But this guy was sort of a crack head and didn't want to sit in his garage while i searched the BMX Museum for my answers. Like Kastan said in the first post, he said it was a Cook Bros. So knowing that it was not I just wanted to know the answer's

So let me get this right.... Kastan wanted to identify the frame to see if it was something he wanted. You swooped in and bought it out from under him so you could sell it for huge profit?? Maybe KastanBMX had the same thing in mind.... who knows, but this whole conversation makes me uneasy. Just something weird about the whole ordeal............. nevermind.

It's a pity that over here in Australia we didn't get any of the exotic early/mid 70's stuff like that...

Everyone has access to Craig's list. Just because one guy posted here while the other was on his way to the guys house doesn't make it Kastan's score. Plus the guy said it was a Cook's and that is what Kastan was asking about. Turns out it wasn't so where is the foul? I don't see one.

I was waiting for a call back from the seller off of C/L too but it looks like Tidey was there with $$ in hand first.

Ya win some ya lose some.....It was posted at around 3:30AM and Tidey told me that he emailed the seller at 5:30 AM - Unless Kastan was the one that told him about it and then Tidey snaked him then I don't see a foul either.

And yes I was pretty excited when I saw it and very bummed when I first saw this thread!!

I was after the COOKS BROS Frame. I have COOKS BROS Parts and wanted to make a complete. Don't hate me because I got the score. I have been on to many other ends of these scores to even remember, so it's about time I got one.
