I've been shooting a bunch of covers lately, and figured some of you might like seeing this gallery.
There's a mix of Bicycle Motocross Action, BMX Action, Freestylin', and Super BMX issues.

Nice job Guy. Most of those mags seem to be in tip-top shape. You're a lucky man to have them. Please post more if you've got 'em.

They've been in binders for the last 20 years or so. I actually have a couple more binders yet to shoot.

Guy- Were you on staff for all/most of these issues?
I still have a mostly complete BMXA collection from '79-'84. Seeing those covers is like experiencing an H.G. Wells time transporter.
And it's inspiring, because even 25 years later, those covers are still top-notch.
Good work.

Me? Spam?
Looks like you hang out at either Motonews or Motodrive.
That photo's part of a running joke between myself and Davey Coombs.
John, I'd guess I was at the respective magazines for most of those issues.
Cheers,

I went to Motodrive one time, it was filled with scary bad people. And some guy named Lenny.

I started out pedaling, donated a few body parts.
Did moto stuff for a while, donated additional body parts.
I'm back to pedaling.

Actually, probably pretty good. I'll have video up later tonight.
His speed looks really good on blue.
Also, his attitude is good as well. He knows this is probably his last chance unless he turns in some results.

So he can continue to be a dumb*** as long as he starts getting some podiums. Well there's his motivation right there.

Hehe.

According to my right one? Very. Seven times was enough.
I finally did the coup de grace on that shoulder about a year-and-a-half ago, dislocating it and tearing a bunch of stuff up in the process. One major surgery later, and it's now better than my left (supposedly good) shoulder.
What's happening, Gary? Long time, no chat.

Do you have some of the negatives to these pictures. If we could get posters made up, that would be unbelievable...
Last time I see you was at the 2 hip contest 1986 in Le Seure Minnesota. If you have some shots from that. Oh man... this place will go wild...

Those are all digital shots. If someone was going to try and make bigger photos, I'd have to work up something better for shooting them. Straighter, less glare, etc.
I'd guess I still have at least negatives from that 2 Hip contest...not sure about slides. That was an interesting event, even if I am too Californian to live in Minnesota full-time.
