Everyone's got a peice of music that gets them hyped to ride: what was your psyche-up music back in the day?

Jam,clash,deadboys,devo,Iggy,radio birdman,werdio's,teen idols,negative approch,NY dolls,cheap trick, thin lizzy, kiss ect.

sex pistols, circle jerks, oingo boingo.

New Order. I still recall riding laps in the car park before the big indoor meet in Christchurch, listening to Power Corruption and Lies, and having Blue Monday pumping through my head on the gate (in my mind of course...the headphones wouldn't fit under my helmet....LOL)

I went out and won the 16 year old class, and the 15-17 cruiser.

Other music was U2, Sex Pistols, and Midnight Oil.

FWIW, I had a band called Authorized Dealer that did every song you were afraid to think you liked about the 70's!

We even had 2, 4' tall bongs onstage spittin' smoke during our set!

Lots of fun!

That band came to be "Grand Fake Railroad" and then faded.

HENDRIX ! After my accident in '83 (head surgury) I started listening to Depeche Mode , The Cure, Eurythmics,Thompson Twins , New Order ,Modern English, Gary Numan, My friends went around saying that I injured my head & one day he's listening to Hendrix, Frank Marino, Ozzy then .........the next I'm listening to UK synth bands . All I had in the hospital for 2 weeks in my cassette walkman were The Cure -Japanese Whispers & The Eurythmics - Sweet dreams , TALK ABOUT BEING REPROGRAMMED ! Hey MCAM I dig the Fac 51 icon . Yes I once was a DURANIE ! Clan of Xymox , Dead Can Dance , THE SMITHS !!!!!!!!
