Did they offer Candy Red painted Motomag IIs in 1979? I looked through the brochures and couldn't find anything. Would it be approprite to use an Ashtabula fork with a Candy painted Motomag II with a 1979 Mongoose frame??

Yeah, I have a mint set of MMIIs with only a few places where the paint has come off. All I had to do was regrease and wipe gently with a rag and they are 9 out of 10 on a survivor scale. They come off of a Murry and now I want to put them on a 1979 White Mongoose with Ashtabula stamped forks. I also have a set of Candy Red tall handlebars to go with it.....I just want the build to be correct. I think it will look sweet. Thanks for the input.
