Scored this retarded clown wagon for $5. Never owned a pit bike before, nor really had any interest in owning one. But couldn't pass up this 80's Predator at the flea market. $5 cuz it had rotten flat tires. My local bike shop had these red tires on the shelf, believe it or not.
I think I'm gonna rebuild it for my little nephews first bike. I'm thinking white frame and fork with red and chrome parts. Anyone got a matching red 16 in. Tuff for the back?
rumblerdave
39 tooth Tuf Neck chainring, Sakae spider, real 16 inch Tuff wheel!
AtomicPunk
pretty cool looking.

Thats funny as! every time I see a pit bike with tall bars and long seat post it reminds me of those dwarf wrestlers that used to be on WWE!
BMX2112
you mean little people wrestlers right.
joe cool on a Phaze One

Rumblerdave, you can still get those decals at Memory Lane in Grand Rapids, OH. I know this because I did one just like that for a 4 year old last Christmas. The one I picked up was all original down to the dry rotted Predator tires, I paid $3 for it. I turned it into a princess bike, it's now pink with white Tuff Wheels. If someone can post a picture of it I can send it to them and you can see how it came out.
rumblerdave
Thanks Norrin! Does Memory lane have a website?

Send me the pics of the princess bike, I'll try and post them.

No way, dude, keep the spoke in back/Tuff in front. I've always been into that for some reason.
I just like the look, I can't imagine any real performance advantage...
rumblerdave
Yeah Mike, I've run bikes that way too, usually after trashing a front spoked wheel! I really want to match up the red Tuff , though. I think my nephew will like 'em.

I have one of those in OG shape sitting in the basement waiting to get cleaned up...was a gift from Manyaxes because I have a 2-year-old son and he knows I dig the Schwinn's.

I have an 87 Freefirm Pro YO! too.

You're not interested in selling that, are you? I've never really been into pits either, but the pit races at the end of the State Series have been looking pretty fun.

I'm thinking about buying an SE L'il Wildman and putting some OG huge bars and a layback on it. Or maybe I'll just hit the thrift stores and flea markets and see if I can score something decent. Who's got the time, though?
Norrin
Rumblerdave, I sent you the pictures a couple of days ago.
