I had one of these around 79. Got is straight from Steve Johnson who used to own Torker and I loved it, so with the help of Cruiserking, I decided to redo the bike

Torker frame and Fork
Bullseye hubs with small allen head (NOS for $25!)
Ukai rims
Asahi Spokes with blue alloy nipples

Tange Alloy headset (?)
Square cornered Tuf Neck
Alloy bars
B1B grips
Dia Compe brakes
Bullseye BB
Sugino crank with Ofmega sprocket
Sedis chain

Shimano freewheel
KKT NOS pedals
Dia Compe seat clamp
Elina saddle
Vinyl Snap pad
Mits Comp III tires
Matthauser "round" brake shoes

Again, thanks to Cruiser for the frame, Jeremy Jacobs for the fork. Vince Torres for the seat and brake and Johnny Johnson for the grips

Sweet bike, where's Jeff hiding? What's in the boxes by the door?
Reilley1
A very long seatpost?

Anyone have a Blue Torker Pad and some decals for the fork?
G-Flash
Showoff!

What's wrong with the number plate?
It looks blank.

Yea - it's pretty deep, too! (the old two guys pee off of a bridge joke)
Nice Torker Rick - if you had used gold parts instead of blue, you'd have an almost exact copy of my little brother's race bike from 82-83 or so.
Thanks for good memories, dude...

LOL @ Mike!

Agghh..I don't know the joke, but imagine it has something to do with me and El Diablo...

Thanks for the comments by the way. In useless trivia, I was asked about the stem pad-through the-number plate routine. It's a little tribute to my friend and sidehack pilot Mike Hardaway who came up with the idea back in the 70s. We all copied him cause we thought it looked sooo cool...

In the late 70s/early 80s when I worked at Tom's Bike Shop, i must have built at least 200 bikes similar to this one. Brings back very good memories

Oh man!! Thanks to my brother Sidehackguy for the BB too!! I almost forgot!
