Yeah,
Steve Giberson (Guy-B) made those. He started a company called Sano Products and I believe that was his first product. He made them because riders were raising up their Pro Necks (or Tuff Necks) and then they would flex. He would cut small lengths of aluminum tubing and you would slide it onto the shaft of your stem (no jokes please!) so it wouldn't flex, hence the name "Flex Fighter". It was a great idea and I know once he made them I always used them on my Pro Neck stems.

I'm a CNC machinist, and back then, since we were way down here in New Zealand, I made my own flex fighters on the CNC lathe at work.
And later, I made my own Hutch 2n1's out of aluminium.
And, before anyone starts ragging on me, I was 18, and the word repro hadn't really been invented yet....LOL
Oh, and flex fighters made a difference too...

Sano Products - I remember that.
They had a cool logo in a kind of digital 'Series One' font.

I like em. I think they are a neat addition to any build....especially after looking at a billion Hutch 2-in-1's

Hehehe.... Well, I just bought my first genuine Hutch 2n1... I've been waiting about 23 years....LOL
Its the only one I'll buy though. One is enough for me.

Hutch 2-in-1's are cool. No doubt. I just like the uniqueness of the flex fighter.
