i have this 79 schwinn frame and dont know what it is (its been stripped) i know its not a phantom scrambler. the only other ones i know of are sx1000, 500, 100, and the 36-36. it also has a welded in kickstand bracket if that matters. thanks!

It's either a Sx-1000 or a Sx-100. The difference would be if its steel or 4130. Weigh it. The 1000 weighs 6lbs on the dot, the 100 is 6 lbs 13 oz.

remember the sx1000 uses the real big seat post.

im thinking it takes like a 13/16 the 7/8 is to big.
