Welcome aboard!!!!!By the way before you get upset at owning a HUFFY that is a very high end HUFFY not your typical department store junk from BITD.

Don't ever lose that seatpost!
I had one just like that. I tricked it out with white tuffs. DC 901 rear brake, forklifter stem. It came stock with a viscount aero seat. I bought it in 1983 then got jumped in October 1985 and it was gone.

My first Huffy (high end, mind you) at 32 years old. Was Huffy (or Bob) ever in kahoots with Raleigh? Someone showed me a pic of a Raleigh that had same brake bridge.

I'm pretty sure Huffy farmed that frame out to Raleigh but don't quote me on it although I think I'm right. Maybe.

The geometry is actually rad but the tubing they used it really thin. If anyone could find a pic of this bike back in the day Id love to see it. Maybe get an idea for the decals if they ever had any. It looks like a prototype.

Mine kinda looked like that but was chrome and instead of Pro Lightning it said "Huffy Racing" on the downtube. My 83 did not come with Araya rims but my nephew's 84 did. They came with a high 44/13 ratio which made them nice for riding long distances.

I like that better, Huffy Racing. If I ever build it Ill make some custon stickers like that. Search is on for a matching fork.

Nice Lightnin'. Right about the seatpost, that's the only one you'll ever be able to use!
The brake bridge is similar to the old Powerlites...
