Check out the cranks on this mid-school Goose.
The bike is nothing but the cranks happen to be 180mm Profiles... 2nd gen..... (froget the spider - junk).
Good score huh?
Steve88 scored it locally.
As a bonus it also came with used but OK Araya 1.5 7X rims in black, laced to black GT LF hubs, Powerlite pro Power bend bars and a DK stem...
...it is the cranks that is the score!

What year(s) did they make that chainwheel? I've never seen that logo before.

Very nice. I stopped by a yard sale today and thought why can't I find even a crap bike with decent parts.

That frame, Would you consider selling it? If so how much? If you could put up some pics then that would be great.
Thanks.

Mate - the frame is spoken for I'm afraid.
PS: do you know what year it is?

That sprocket looks pretty cool, as do the Pitbull brakes. And the frame isn't really a bad frame, just too new for most of us. The cranks are definitely the centerpiece but I wouldn't toss the rest of it.

It looks to be a late 90's Mongoose Solution. The very first Solutions (The same as your's) were chromoly before they started with the alloy models. Sam Arellano and Tim 'Fuzzy' Hall raced them BITD.
Yours looks like it still has the original paint and decals because I only ever remember that model 'Goose coming out in that color.
Can you post up some pics of the complete bike as you got it?

Nice job!
No matter how stupid they are, I can't stop digging those old "Bomber" pads. Why, I don't know. I've got some NOS!
