Just picked up this cruiser. Is there a way to tell if it's chromoly or steel?

Can post pics if needed.

Thanks.

Looks to be chromoly to me...and one of the sweeter Murray's in the world. Are those Titron pedals?

This is one of the ELF made specimen for the Murray factory team. These are Hutch pedals with Crupi cages.

here are some pics. It also has the stock chainguard, making me think it's lower end.

The real question, is it worth it to fix up, especially cause I need rims.

Thanks.

That is a common department store variety oldschoolcolo .

Okay, they're Hutch pedals, but they look like Titron cages. But the thing I didn't notice at first is the Son Lite Turbo hubs! Quadangle, that has to be the most pimpin' Murray EVAH!

Check this out!

That's what I'm talking about!

I was wrong too. These are JP cages not Crupi!
But they hurt the same!

That is one really cool mag cover Quad? Who is the rider?

Quads build is one of my old Murray bikes that was made by Elf BITD. He has done an outstanding job of maintaining it... a true showpiece.
