The Great Lakes National is this weekend in Waterford, Michigan.

Anyone planning on going to watch? Anyone displaying? I know it's late to inquire, but I plan on being there on Sunday w/ the wife and daughter and I thought I might be able to meet up with someone.

Post here if you're going on Sunday. Maybe we can exchange phone #'s and meet up at some point...

Hey there Tom. I'm "planning" on going Sunday but I won't know for sure until Saturday when my wife gets her work schedule. If she has to work all day Sunday then I've got to watch our 7 month old son. Although maybe I'll bring him with me to the track or see if my sister can watch him for a little bit. She lives in Waterford five minutes from the track. I'll let you know.

Hey Tom. Yes that's me you sold the decals to. They were the chrome GT Santa Ana frame/fork decals. Real quick, are they gonna have a little area set aside for like old school bikes or something like that? I was just curious.

I don't think anything is planned...but I wouldn't mind bringing a couple bikes.

Maybe Deanna will read this thread and comment on displaying bikes......Deanna? Is it something we can do? Or not at this late notice?

It will be a small national, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to if you wanted to. The track covers a large area and I would think about doing it somewhere near the finish line. Maybe up by the shaded trees.

I'll be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I might stop by to say hi to some people before heading to the cruise, not sure yet.

Sorry guys/gals....I was offered eight hours of Double Time tomorrow. I guess, I will have to pass on the races....we could really use the extra money. Have fun everyone....
