Well I got bit by the 70's bug. Here is my choice as a Project for this coming fall. I picture this with a black front fender, the triple tree and a set of box bars. Also a set of MOTOMAG I's with some old Cheng Shin knobbies and a set of Oury grips.

That things clean, Nick, and, to my eyes, looks just about done...aside from some obviously missing parts. I'm not one to meddle in another man's build, but I'd keep it spoked...that's how they came stock.

I don't think this 1977 monoshock I'm mocking up & looking over for problem areas in the "bouncy parts" atm is going to be all that stock or period correct , but it should look & ride cool when finished.
The SE cruiser bars on it don't work well , I should get a better rise & feel out of some CW style bars Matt's got hidden away somewhere.....
Would you believe that this monoshock bike also came out with 3 piece cro-mo cranks , sealed euro BB , DX pedals & Dia Compe 990 plate mounted rear brakes & had mudguards !

Nick, that thing is in awesome condition!

Wow...is that a survivor or restored? Bolt the few missing correct pieces on, keep the wheels/tires and call it DONE. Nice!
