that looks like a X20c frame w/a Kent fork .... (even most the breakdown of parts is X20c with some mixmatch here and there) --- but whatever

That is a Basher frame......They were based on the X-20.....Hence the SE/Murray conection.

That is what I have been saying all along. There was an SE/Murray Basher that was meant to be a mass produced low budget SE Racing bike. The fork was a Landing Gear variant.Like the one shown in the other thread on OS.

Mass produced, cheap=No top hat washer but does have the normal MURRAY retaining safety device.

meant to be --- but wasn't --- Scot didn't approve so the effort was scrapped - NO ? so it still just looks like a MURRAY x20c with a KENT fork .....

Heres a pic of my real nos SE Basher. Its basically a Race Inc. RA-7 frame, even the serial number says RA ***. I showed Mike Devitt the frame in person at Rockford 2003 and he confirmed that it was a real factory stickered and sold aluminum Basher. They made a chromoly Basher (non-Murray) frame that came out in 1980 (looked alot like a hauler) and this was the aluminum counterpart.
I had one of those CRMO Bashers -- I vaguely remember it being a long, low, looptailed frame that was painted navy blue.
It was my favorite bike BITD. Who's got a pic of one of those?

I think Bill at Supercross has a red one, someone posted a pic of it one time.
Bmx action did a product blurb on it in 1980.

Is this a basher? This is an aussie members build. I'm pretty sure it was a basher.

I think its a Bronco, the quality non Murray Bashers were looptails.
