I just scored this Supergoose frame:

I will be taking delivery of it next week. I can't wait to get it so I can start cleaning it up and building it.
Unsure if the seatpost is stuck or not but will sort it out when it arrives.

In my opinion, a "score" means you at least got it below market value and also, I would imagine most here would agree that the larger the deference between the market value and the price paid has a everything to do with how big the "score" was.

If revcore tell us he paid 1000 AUS, then it really isn't a huge "score"

A score for me means you got something you always wanted...

It is a real good score for me because I have wanted a Supergoose frame for a very long time, And I payed an unbelievable price for it.....Waaaaaay below market value so my hip pocket isn't hurting one single bit

That basement is like a beach with all that sand in there.

...I was thinking about adding personal "scores" or "Holy Grails" but didn't want to go that deep.

Very cool - so, what's the build plan for this frame?
Hopefully, Supergoose repro stickers will be out sometime soon. My 'Goose has stickers, but possibly not exactly the right ones.

I want to see if I can locate the original 'Goose forks for it, Then repro Supergoose decals then start a chrome and blue color scheme for this build.

Thanks mate. I've been looking for a clean Supergoose frame for a very long time. I'd been offered a few in the past but they weren't in very good condition (And they were usually over priced) so when this one came up a few days ago I contacted the seller straight away and worked out a deal, So yeah...I'm very happy, I can't wait until it gets delivered so I can get to work on it. If I could get some Supergoose prism decals and locate a set of 'Goose forks then that would be awesome.

I'd wait for Bills stickers to come out. If you can find a set they'll cost a fortune. Unless you find them in a shop somewhere. Ring Universe cycles in Parramatta in Sydney. They HAD nos forks on the wall there when I looked last.

A "score" to me is anything I can find in my home town!

this is bizare as i scored a supergoose not long ago although it is the ealier model it has the exact same decals they must have had a run out special on those decals BITD check the pic.

Thats a nice 'Goose you've got there. I like those forks. I'm looking for a set of forks the same as them. You wouldn't happen to have a spare set laying around have ya?

sorry no but i have got a set of NOS Tange forks in primer and NOS decal waiting to be applied, with the pressed together drop outs if they are of any help to you.

Those Tange forks sound good. I will try to get a set of chrome 'Goose forks first but if I have no luck then I will get the Tange forks off you. How much do you want for them out of curiosity?

I remember that pic very well, In fact it was that very pic that originally got my interest in the Supergoose all those years ago.
Just imagine the value of that bike if it was still around in that condition today.

Revcore i pefer to trade parts that way the cheese and kisses has less chance of getting upset LOL but if you need them email me richie@richies-world.com and im sure we can work somthing out.
