A new favorite of mine in the Pliska Collection. Grabbed this off of eBay when I returned from Rockford in June.

I have a Silver and a Yellow (both from 1976) model of this same bike but I hadn't seen this color since the 1970s and I simply love the classic color on this bike.

It doesn't get much more old school than this right here....

1975 Schwinn Scrambler in total survivor mode. These came stock with Carlisle Aggressor MX 20x2.125 tires front and rear. Sad part is someone had replaced the front tire on this bike with a Wal Mart Cheng Shin (the type you'd expect to find on a Manga) so I was stuck with one flawless 1975 date code Aggressor and one Wal Mart tire. Since I recently had an entire warehouse full of Cheng Shin C-183s, I tossed a set on this bike and sold off the remaining Aggressor.

I Borrowed the seat off of one of my 1976 Scramblers as someone in the past had replaced the seat with a huge spring loaded job that would fit a pre-Jenny Craig Kirstie Alley rear end.

Other than that (two tires and the seat) everything you see here is original to this bike from the Chicago Schwinn plant in 1975. If you'll notice, the 1975 Scramblers didn't even have the built in kickstand that came on the later models of the Stingray Scrambler line.

Very cool bike Ken!!! Really takes me back to being a young kid for sure. I recently picked up a Silver Scrambler from Ramon that is in just as nice. This is truly roots bmx.

Nice work Mr. Pliska, from a fellow XL24 rider.

That is totally awesome, seeing it definitely takes me back to our little house and seeing mine laying in the front yard...

When I was a see kid I remember seeing that bike and just being awed by it. I'd love to have one now.

Oh, Schwinn guys- I ahve a couple of 1 3/4" tires to fit those Schwinn rims. Used but not dead. Let me know if you need them cheap.

Man that brings back memories. I wanted one of those sooooo bad in '76, but Pops wouldn't let me have one-I had to get the standard Sting Ray-although I still wish I had that bike now.
Randy
I love that bike, your a lucky man, the original aero seat...

Not a survivor, but one of my favorites in my little collection. It only needs fat chengshins.

I dig my restored '75. I put Cheng Shins, Schwinn Varsity pedals, and a Varsity seat on it. The wheels are from a '77 Scrambler and the color isn't right for a '75 either. I love the thing. It just screams 70's. Mine has the kickstand mount. It's from November though, so it might actually be a '76 model. It did come with the chainguard ring instead of the standard type chainguard that came on later models. Let's see some more Scramblers.
