ND, those are a couple of black chrome Mongoose Pro Class frames. Must be about '82 or '83 vintage.

Side by each and looking pretty sharp.

Photo could darn near be up against a mirror except the stickers are different, and one frame has cranks, while the other does not.

Nice.

Real nice.. That bike and the DB Turbo are my two faves. Wasn't that bike designed for Bobby Woods or am I completely and totally wrong? Whatever happened to him?
jerry a hutcher

Here is another shot...Joe Cool...

pk ripped
Tom, are those nos? Or refinished?

Beautiful!~!
AtariAger
The '82 is on top...the '83 is below.

$510 was for the '83...I wouldn't even say that is an arm! Other than a few scratches...the finish is practically mint. The decals just have to be straightened out a bit, a little bit of heat and they'll be perfect. I'm surprised it did not go for more.

It also came with an almost mint Pro Class stem, the original Mongoose headset, Sugino 3 piece and a nice set of Suntour XC II's (9/16).

The Sugino's are coming off and will be replaced with these...

AtariAger
Hey PK...

They are both original...the '82 is a bit faded but the '83 is in amazing condition.

that black chrome is very hard to replace these days!!! I got a quote just for the frame and fork and it was over 300.00,,I nearly fainted over the phone,,

I had an '83 black chrome pro class in '83 and it was a really comfy bike, i raced it a few times, though the black chrome peeled and i stopped using it... ended up breaking it up by the head tube.
light bike!
oldracer88
Ok here is a stupid question... i can't remember! did they make pro class rims in 24"? that would be sweet!
AndyDiamond
Yeah they did....

here's my 24" Pro Class.
It came with one tweaked 24" PC wheel.

Original Pro Class stuff (would have been off the first complete bike in 82 - note the stem is stamped 'Mongoose' not 'Pro Class'):
