I only ask cause I was driving around today at lunch and saw what I though was a PK on the side of a house. It had an almost exact profile, but was a little off. So that where my question comes in.....
Joe
Kappa did a limited run of a looptail PK. coulda been one of those. Check the retro section of this site for pics.

killa, I don't even think the ones on ebay are even chromoly, are they. I was under the impression that they were just hi-tensile frames. Regardless.... JUNK.

they were phillipines made I believe and steel - - very close from far away - very different up close - I have a pictorial to show the differences (but I'm too lazy to post) basically to put it short

if you flip them over you'll notice vent holes in the seat and chain stays near the bb and seat mast - also the wrap around brace that jions the 2 seta stays on the top, does not fully wrap to enclose the fakes, and one seat stay is round while the other is visibly pinched to allow the two to come together ......

so, yes, there were close looking knock-offs ---- so always ask questions ---- real looptail PKs would never have vent holes
