I just picked up an old GT at the swap meet, Its chrome and is what we could a "Flatback" I know it has to be from the early to mid 80's but what number would tell me the year?

I guess know here wants to help me or maybe you just don't know.... the serial number is. 12911096 and it is styamped MI.

MI might mean Mini.

I'm not sure though. I don't know much about 90's GTs.
