1980? Team/Supergoose...check the last pic. Whats up with the weird bend in the upper seat brace area? Normal? or bent? There are NO cracks in it at all.

Well, Nice score first up. The seatclamp looks like an Addicks clamp. Chunky but old so it's cool.
The goose frame looks a-ok. They have a weird bend in that gusset.
Thats about all I can help with.
Love the DG frame. I'd love one of them.
Randy
That bend always seems more noticable on the "team" frames, which you have, Supergoose, 1980.

The DG forks looks Wald or something similar, the Murrays are....Murrays. I dig the welds and imagine the guys welding for Murray, yes, even you can fabricate for Murray Bicycle Company

I don't know..... l think I would keep those grips like that on the restore.LOL.... for real though love the DG. Had one BITD luv to get another one....

I SWEAR I saw that turquiose bike up at the Sloan Museum antique auto swap meet up in Flint back in late June. ALmost picked up a GT Performer and a Haro Group 1 there but couldn't meet on price.

Here's another picture of mine.

Did this company, PLME, make a two-fastener variety?

Mine is machined aluminum, same fastener type, and same shape as the ad Todd posted above...

Anyone with more information?
Rod Miles
I have seen one other like that but it was polished on a mini. I thought maybe the guy cut it in half but now that I see yours maybe he did not?
Strip that ugly paint off and let us know.

Here is a picture of my DG-ZF, I know the clamp was too old for this build bit I loved the way it looked on it.

Well, maybe it's possible that they offered a 2-fastener clamp as well.

Just some more info on the clamp: As you can see from the inside surface where the clamp was mounted to the DG frame, it was originally annodized gold like Rod's.

UPDATE on the "Team Turquoise" and the two Team Murray bikes on page one:

I dropped them off at the home of an elderly gentleman who is well-known in the community for giving bikes to children who don't have them.

He was very happy to have the bikes, and we talked about all the parts that were still perfectly useable. He will probably strip them and use the components to refurbish other "nearly complete" bikes.

He's a super-nice old guy and I always look forward to stopping in and talking to him. He bought me a Pepsi and we sat in the shade and talked during my lunch hour today.

Kinda neat, eh?
