I just want to be 100% sure that what I have here is a FMF. I picked this up a few days ago. Larock's FMF on the other thread has a hole in the gusset where mine doesn't. Any idea what year. I believe the forks are Diamond Back.

Looks like a Race Inc. with DiamondBack Forks.

ALL FMFs have the oval hole in the front gusset. MOST early FMFs don't have a brake bridge.

Yep, Ken is right, plus that frame doesnt have the diamond shaped drop outs FMFs and early race incs have. Your frame is a late 70s, early 80s Race Inc. RA-7...with a very sweet gold anno finish.

RA44879 is the serial number if that helps.

Yes it is a Race inc. I just looked in the museum and there they are. I can't believe I didn't look in there first.

Both hubs are sunshine with a flip-flop in the back. Does anybody have ant history on these frames.
