Dude get real. I did not see the 1st or 2and motos. I saw the main you won. Nice job : I've also seen Mike ride a lot harder. You look alot better than you did a few weeks ago. Take some time to watch your little one. You might want to bump her up a tooth.

Ok All,
Here it is a pic of me racing. I don't get too many photo opp's so this is a rare one. I am in 2nd place #632 about to hit the big doubles. This might be the main of the Saturday state qualifier. That is Curt Zizzo (NAG 4 aba and nbl) beating me like always. I have been giving him a good run for his money the last 9 years out here. Great guy to race with.

Wow, a compliment with a but? I better just take it and run along and be happy. I think Tabbie has the right gear, she just needs to find the desire to win. I have here running a 42x16.
On a serious note, why does the 20 seem to hurt so much more than the cruiser. I am assuming it is the gearing but wow, I need to ride that 20 more.

Cuz you got to pedal more. A 42/16 seems really low for that track. Maybe u should bump her 2 teeth. What gear are the other runnin in her class?

I started her with a 44x16 and it seemed to tall. All of the kids have a tough time coming out of the last corning getting over the tabletop. The lower gearing seemed to help her out a bit. I can try a 43, but again I think she can go faster with what she has.
My 20 is still making noise. I did put on a new chainring but I still think it is the rear hub or free wheel. I am going to flip/flop it and see how if does with the other FW. I did get a new bottom bracket from Profile as well that I need to put in. Could be the chain flopping around because it only does it under power.

If you have ever raced at Cool Tool in Rochester, NY (Hilton/Parma) please post when and what you rode BITD. Also if you have any photos it would be cool to see them. I raced there from 1985 until it closed. I know some people here have raced there.

I know what you mean about dirt, but it still is nice to ride. I've always been more of a freestyle guy, but I go with 2 race guys. Their thoughts are better to go ride than sit around all winter.
The guy in Syr ran into a financial roadblock, but from what I hear it's not dead. He's got a lead on a couple of investors and/or sponsors. Jeez if you had indoor in Syracuse you think could draw from all over the state with that location. But then again racing numbers aren't what they were in the 80s.

Almost looped out bigtime over that jump. Not sure what happened to Kakouris after that pic was snapped, but after I landed with the binders on, Richie came out of the first turn with the lead. I'm just thankful he was far enough back in the points standings. Tim was a cool guy that always rode me clean.

Thanks for the kind words. I raced back in 2000/2001. Won a few Nationals, broke a few bones..LOL. I am pretty content watching my boys race and chillin in the pits. Last time I tried a gate start I threw my back out. Getting old sucks.

Andy,
I showed my wife the video and she was like who used to tape those races. Your dad is the man. Thanks for the memories even if I did get punked in both of those videos. Whitey was a year older than me, so we never raced against each other. I really only raced class back in the day, maybe a few opens. The only EBA race I did was at the fairgrounds in Syracuse but would have been novice, rocking my Torker. Keep the videos coming, even the ones with the boy dressed up like clowns.

TOMG, Yes #41p is Kenny Pascoe, and you may be right about the #1 rider being Charlie Goodrich. Back in 84 and 85, Columbia gave out co-sponsorships for the #1 riders. Both Kenny and Charlie were offered, and Charlie took the opportunity but Kenny didnt ride the bike or gear. This is Guilford, CT which was an awesome track. #75 is my brother Al Neubauer.
Thanks for the memories.
