Ok. I have to say my sweats were kind of high, but I grew from like 6 inches in one summer. I really was a fashion model trying the new zeronine capris.
I did use to rock the high tops. Ask Whitey about the time I smoked his friend like 100 times on my cycle craft from lane 8 at southtowns in a pair of nike air force ones with the strap.
Whitey who was that dude who played in the journey cover band at the bug jar??

All right, i have to jump in here. I never raced EBA, but Raced Cool Tool's Nationals a few times. I will post some pictures of the CW freestyle team with Diz Hicks and Ceapie Mayes soon. The Siloways always new how to hold an awesome race. Bands, Freestyle shows, A killer Pro shop, Swimming lake, pletny of camping. I remember the first year they had the event, Jim Silloweay wanted a national in New York, but we didnt have any good tracks that could hold a big event. So Jim went over the state commisioner, Bill Zinzar's, head and went straight to the NBL and Bob Tedesco, and told them if they gave him a National, he would build a world class facility, and he came through. Nice, smooth, long track, and every team was there for those races. Godd times. Hey Ken Amen, Whitey, Mike Crehan, Russ and Ed. How are you guys? Email me back when you get a chance.

I have a few race bikes sitting around that I'm working on, and restoring, but that's about it right now.
I've gotta get some work done on my Road Runner, too.
Hope you're doing well. It's probably sunny, and 65 where you're at, eh?

ok...i dont even know where to start with this....nbl natty..ohio? ok,let me rob whitey's previous posting style about Sweaty-McSweatpant
The 'BUTTER-STYLES' checklist:
-2 tone jeans from marketplace mall
-neon green oakley grips that didnt match a thing on your bike.
-a kmart helmet because you left yours on top of the car in Ft.Wayne the day before(most likely on top of the leathers you left up there too)..yes,as we were leaving, echo visor and a large zeronine sticker holding it up bought from track vendor on your way to your practice runs..
-black and neon vans, again, not matching a thing.
-a cyclecraft jersey,in EXTRA MEDIUM of course
-last but not least, your brake lever posted dumb high like greg grubbs,by your dad,so you wont hit your brakes in corners...

%$%$#ING SMOOTH....

All right, Mike Crehan- hey. Dennis Neubauer. My Bro Al and I used to race in CT in the 80's when you did too. You are a few years younger then me, but always faster. I would always try to keep up with you in practice then. As for the pic of the murray world cup, Yes that is Ken Amen, after he dominated 18 and over ex and 18-24 cruiser and got two national number one plates. 1986. One of the strongest and fastest riders to come out of New York back then. And as for it being in the 60's? NO WAY!! its in the 80's down here. Our track is racing tonight. we will have maybe 20 motos. As for you guys starting a track in Alaska? Russ, this is awesome. i may just have to buy a coat and fly up there to visit. I'll try to get Ed to go. I may even put my Skyway Graphites back on, if i can get a set of brake pads. (hint hint, Ed). MAN, it is so nice to hear from you all again. And Jud, sorry i didnt include you before. It was alway a chalenge keeping up with you, on ANY track.

Its true. My friend Jeff comes back from practicing at Southtown BMX talking about this kid riding a Cyclecraft killing everyone from gate 8. Asks me if I know him. "He was riding a Cyclecraft, Nike high tops, and rode every lap from #8." Through tears and laughter I tell him I know who it is and he ain't no kid. "Does he race nationals?" Nope, now he just goes to practice. NBL National #4 17 expert getting worked by David James......high tops and all!

Whitey,
I get to work about 8:30, and it's still dark until about 10:00 or so. I head home at about 5:30, and it's been dark for maybe a couple of hours already. We're still losing a little bit, but I'll still see about 5 hrs or so of light. It can get depressing.
We had quite a long cold spell, but it finally broke. It really wasn't that cold tho... around 0 for almost 2 months. We're in the teens now, and we'll see about 4-6 inches of snow tomorrow.
It did reach 40's for a couple of days last week.
I was walking around in a T-shirt....what a concept!
I miss the hotties, and skin! They do hang at the bars, tho.
I really don't have many pics, and the ones I have aren't any good.
That's another reason why I hang here. You boys hook me up with good shots, and stories.

I'll look for pics of you when I go home for x-mas.

Dennis,
Thanks for the kind words. I didn't follow BMX too closely after I got out of it at the end of 1986, but I was aware that you and Whitey were tearing up the National scene. I owe you an apology Dennis, I was in Morristown over Thanksgiving and had no idea that was you announcing until just after your semi on Sunday. I heard your name announced while you were winning your semi, then I thought, that is the same guy that has been announcing all weekend. I heard you say you had lane 4 in the main, so I went over to the motosheets to see if it was you. You were flying dude!!!! (and did a great job announcing) Any chance you will be going to the Christmas Classic?

Iceman, Those pictures are SO cool. The tri-city pic must have been from a qualifier, and Gerardi is the same size now as he was then. The one of You and Al is from Mass. Those triples were so much fun. you had to pick up for the first one, and then jump the second and third jumps. We always had some good 17 and over races there. People from all over the northeast. I remember one local there we had 80 motos, and our class had semi's. Ken, I remember riding with you, Ken Pascoe, my brother Al and Charlie Goodrich. We used to have sprint races at the practice tracks. Ken, HOLY COW, i didnt know you were there. I will not be in Ohio, sorry. Money is tight this year. Are you going to come to Florida for the easter races? We have to get together then.

what were you riding then?..now that i think about it,weren't you also a HIGH-RIDER sponsored champion?
i'd love to rebuild that bike, supercross made JMC cruiser replicas a few years ago,and i actually got one,soo we'll see.... cats are SMOKED OUT with these prices, and since whitey took all our old stuff,i know he has a 2 car garage full...whitey,you need to sell it all back,at a reasonable profit....dave james' Panda? i'd bid...or maybe the arm wings..action race color selection..your journey collection...Honeys jerseys...i know u have....youth medium zeronine pants
