Pretty sure it's a Formula One Rick

I also think that its a formula 1, mine has the same parts on it. yours is all original except for the grips. thats a cool score for a good solid bike.

WOW nice chrome..
Thumperpilot
Formula-1, they came with some pretty sweet 1.5 wheels on those. Chrome with black alloy nipples. Very clean looking bikes BITD.

wish my stores around here had some

I have a set of rims that came on that bike. Straight but badly flaked chrome. Yours if you want them tho...

That sure be a Formula 1, an 83' which would have had the cool red razor stickers, not the blue one's which came out in 84.

The stem is a "Formula 1" stem, basically a Turbo Lite stem with a steel shaft and bolt, as opposed to the aluminum one on the Turbo Lite, a black hinge top too instead of chrome.

Basically all you need is some black DC 890's/Black Tech III, those 1.5 chrome Araya's laced to low flange black Suzue's with black nipples, a chrome Suntour 16t freewheel, a 1.75 Comp III up front, a 1.5 Comp III in the rear, black/grey, or black and white Oakley B1B's and you are set to go!

The chrome is really nice on that thing.

Congratulations!
Kurt.
