Don,
Sick builds as usual, never get tired of seeing them.
Put image tags before and after the link, so it will post on here without going in to your photobucket, or use the [img]tags provided on ur photobucket to copy and paste here. Looks like [IMG] link[/img].

Guys you just sent me through a time Warp...I raced a GT Nora Cup (Black chrome bike) when I was a kid!! I will never forget when I saw that bike in Capitol Schwinn Cyclery In Baton Rouge!! I had to have it, No matter what...It was so Clean looking!! Came fresh from the store with flight 401's, araya Chrome rims, with suzue sealed hubs, a dk stem, gt bars...WOW...This bike was super sweet!! Anyway...I still have the flight 401 cranks from that bike, and I think that it was the only thing that survived that ride...Unless someone else has it!! But, I seem to remember it would not be black chrome anymore anyway!! My friend and I stayed up all night one night stripping the black chrome off with a razor blade, till there was none left...At the time, I was racing around 4-5 times a week, my bike had gone through some rigourous scratches, and it was flaking!!! To my surprise though, I had a BRAND NEW chrome bike under the black coat...lol...So, we stripped it off...At the time, I felt like I had a new biike...BOY, were we stupid kids....lol. Anyway, Thanks for showing a picture of that bike, you never know when you will touch someones heart with a photo, and you did today!! Jason

If I could ever figure out a way to actually download a picture on this site!! I actually have a picture of ME, on the black chrome Nora cup in 1983-84....

this is really one my favorite riders .i ride it dry rotted tires and all....it handles great on my trails and belive it or not the mx1000 copy works real well...i think the little bend it has helps it perform better.

these 3 are the favorite 20 inchers in the collection...the robbie still needs a few items.

lovly line up DON .... I'm feelin those Trakers as well --- whats the scoop there (give them a seperate thread and story)

nice work gentlemen --- Black Chrome is one of those very intoxicating old school finishes from bitd ..... wish JMC would have offered it at some point so I'd 'have' to have one in my line up (oh well, so I'll have to settle for they're candy blue, coulda been worse - thankfully they never did pink either - whew !)

If ya ever wanna trade the Black Chrome Gt off, I have some wonderful trade bait!!! I also am a collector, so I have run up on some cool stuff in my searches, so let me know, Would love to have what I had back in my youth!! If ya have a favorite bike youve always wanted...I may have it...Jason
Billy Patterson
I remember Kevin Hull having one...
Nice Frame. From what I remember, The finish was very fragile...True?
seadooit
not as fragile as a proclass or turbo..it is different.i had a proclass and a buddy has a turbo.the worst spot on mine is where the pad rubbed the toptube.
