Sabotage
I have a Hutch frame which concerns me. It is US made with a serial number and is between 18 3/4 and 19 inches centre of headtube to centre of seattube. This is exactly the same as my Hutch Judge. I have read elsewhere that any Pro Racer under 19 1/4" is likely to be an expert - is this the case? I thought experts only went up to 18 1/4".

Thanks, J-P

p.s Any one want to sell a set of NOS original black ( were they ever done in a chrome finish?)Hutch Rad kaps for $200. I'll pay $400 if you also have a set of NOS black Hutch grips - the ridiculous thing is that this is probably not enough for what were cheap and not particularly good grips at the time !.

That's $400 for the grips and the radkaps !!! I'm not completely insane !

That's the ones. I've had a blue set ( which I sold on ebay a while ago) and a red set which i've just sold as part of a Hollywood complete build on ebay UK. Are the black ones for sale for the right price?

You tease !

You obviously know your Hutch stuff - what's your verdict on my Hutch frame question?
Sabotage
If i'm out on price - let me know what you would want for the grips and the rad-kaps - I might just go for it. J-P

It is probably going to take more.

I just measured my two Pro Racers and one is 19 1/4 and the other is 19 1/2 inches center to center. You probably have a short Pro Racer. What are the diameters of your top and bottom tubes?
mr coasterbrake
for reasons that connot be explained, yes, there were some frames that came from Hutch billed as "Pro Racers" that were a little under 19" TT. mistakes? using up tubing? i dunno. (official TT length varied between 19" and 19 1/2")
