G-FLASH....THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR SHOPPING E-BAY. ITS ALL WRONG AND EVERBODY COMPLAINS BUT STILL USES E-BAY. E-BAY THE HOME OF THE DEEP POCKET WINNERS AND E-BAY
LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK.
THERE IS A BETTER WAY AND SOME OF YOU HAVE TOUCHED ON IT, BUT YES I SAID BUT........THE ALL-THE-TIME SELLERS WOULD NOT LIKE IT AS MUCH BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T GET THE FRENZY BUYERS JACKING UP THE PRICE AND THEN THE $ GUYS SNIPING THE ITEMS THEY WOULDN'T REALLY KNOW JUST HOW MUCH IT WOULD TAKE TO GRAB UP EVERYTHING.
TO EACH HIS OWN. THERE SHOULD BE A BETTER WAY.

Play by play:

71carfan with 0 transactions peckerheaded all the way till the end when Mr Orlandojeffd sniped me! Son-of-a-BISCUT EATER!
BenOr
Whenever, without exception, I offer here first, it's just a bunch of tire kickers. Nobody ever buys here.

Love it or hate it, eBay sorts the buyers from the lookers.

It would be much easier to sell here as there are no fees.
lownslow
No disrespect. But it seems sniping isn't the problem, you just didn't bid high enough.

No matter what way you choose to bid if your the highest bidder you would win.

Ben tries everything here 1st, and I have taken advantage of him often...did that come out right?

Anyway, your statement is wrong. Thanks for the last deals.
jerry a hutcher
gotta lay out da bling if ya want da ting chump!!lol
Ramon a.k.a Beaner
I stand with BenOr, I have offered my DB stuff and other parts and have had no takers, now I am doing the e-bay thing.

Bidding, I've been on that end, he who forks out the most cash will win. I've been sniped as I was sniping, all part of the game, I obviously didn't want those items bad enough or I reached my spending limit for that particular item.

There have been times when I have had a pretty nice price and then at the last minute some poser drives up the price to near my highest bid forcing me to pay more...again if you want to play, you have to pay.
G-Flash
Pretty soon I will be done playing because I won't have sufficient funds to be paying!

lol @ g-flash hehehehe

i try to buy here.. its the first place i hit....
but as ebay is bigger.. not everybody will have stuff i need here or vise a versa..(sp?)
But i do look here and try here first to spend my money...
there just isnt alot of MCS and Auburrn, and Haro Group 1 RS1 stuff laying around at decent prices...decent meaning that i can afford..
rlowride
i also play the reverse roles in my other hobby...
i have .. had... and do build lowriders and the car like that....
i have all kinds of Cadillac parts.. I DONT NEED OR WANT.. so i offer them to all the guys on my lowrider sites, for next to nothing...
hard to find parts that would sell on the bay for 40. 50 buck or more... i will let somebody have on the site for 10 or 15 bucks plus shipping..
for instance.. i just sold a complete, tilt telescopic steering colum (black) with the steering wheel for a 1990 Cadillac fleetwood Brougham, a very desired car... for 30 dollars... plus shipping... and shipping will be the EXACT.. cost to the guy who bought it....
not these inflated... 25 dollar shipping costs for a rotor..

Only in the dirty south will we take Lacs and put 26 DUB's and slump low in the seat boomin da bass showing off our grills!

Fight fire with fire , SNIPE AS WELL If you REEEEEALLY want that part bad enough you can snipe the max & see what happens . I snipe from time to time (not on BMX parts , but on music , records ,cd's etc. ) I sniped a headset , but still got outbidded LITERALLY 3 seconds 'till end , but I wasn't upset
1. B-cause I waited til the last seconds
2. I submitted what I thought the highest I would pay
3. If I lost my thoughts " WELL HECK THEY CAN HAVE IT "
4. When I finally get that part (you know you're gonna get it someday ) , it will make acquiring it all that much satisfying .
OZZYBMX
there is loads of sniping sites about that you set up the snipe ...7 mins , 7 hours or 7 days before the item ends and you dont even have to be there when the auction finishes .... just log onto ebay and PAY DA MAN

the one i use is free ( 5 auto snipes a week ) you register with them and in my experience in 1 1/2 years , VERY SAFE . This site hits the auction with your bid 8 seconds before it finishes . if you want the name of it PM me as i dont know if i can post the name of it here and be within the VBMX rules .

What the hell did you just say?
G-Flash
Lacs and L dogs- Southern African American for a luxury sedan !

Bass - The low frequency soundwaves that are emmited from these types of vehicles due to the amont of transducers, Amperage power and the large trunk space needed in order for the optimum Qfactor to be reached in order to move the most efficent amount of air as quick as possible. Perfarably done in a large residential area late at nite while everyone sleeps!

Grills- After neglecting teeth due to poor hygene and no dental care., False teeth are made by a non qualified dental technician/arts&crafts person from cheap 10k or less gold and fashioned with cubic zarconias. Then they are worn in public places such as malls and Mtv videos all the while drinking crunk!

Crunk- Gin and whatever or ripple or mad dog 20/20 all the while pretending it's champale!

I've bought several items here, always with great results. I've posted countless wish lists, but rarely do I get any response.

Good humor....! Thanks for the second language lesson G!....lol

I like finding stuff posted for sale here. I think everyone appreciates the direct deals here, when they are offered that way. The reason that I don't shop here more often, from guys like Ben, is becasue 9 out of 10 postings are links to e-bay listings anyway. ...Which is bogus.

You gotta be willing to sift through the postings that say "2 hours left on my listing, click here". wtf?

Yup!
OZZYBMX
yeah its not cheap to build a few bikes .... question to yous seasoned builders OR ones that hav'nt stopped since the 80's mr hayes would be a perfect candidate or any of yous ...

Q - has the price of NOS , OS and generally bmx bits went up dramatically in the past few yrs ??

Q - when did you notice the parts getting more expensive , like a bmx bit boom ??
G-Flash
The prices are heading towards the high heavens with no end in sight! What if the bottom drops out? Will they be a new VBMX economic cycle after another 20+yrs? I noticed the prices over fair market value when Cook stems and Redline double neck stems were fetching 350 bigones and up! Limited supply with a growing demand will always make for a good sellers market. Just imagine when we hit the 20,000 member number and how much harder it will be to come up with a score on a part or even the availabilty of stuff ?
