I'm going out on a limb here... but...
I'm attempting the hopeless effort of tracking down my teen racer. It is (was?) a late 1982 Hutch Expert. I sold it 1987 ('88?) in Rockford, IL. I believe the final sale was $175... All to get a CD player for my dorm room. That darn thing ended up skiping after a year anyways... what a mistake...
It wasn't super high-end... and now, purely sentimental... even though I only had it for 5 years... It took me a year and a lot of allowances to finally get it together... a big deal for kid in '82 (Midlothian, VA)
Here's a couple photos taken in '87 just before the sale. Anyone recognize having bought this bike from me in Rockford, IL?

Raddad, Raddad....Where are you Kevin...
Kevin is the guy you need to ask about this one. He is a Rockford native and with his buddy know where every single Hutch in Rockford is located I do believe....lol
Kevin will be at the Rock this weekend hit him Monday...

I'm actually driving up Saturday mornign for the show... maybe I'll by chance bump into him if I ask around correctly.
And I know: Hutches without serial numbers... people always swapping out parts... it's probably impossible.... not to mention all the lost bikes rusting under people's porches, behind sheds, back of garages and hidden in basement corners...
I just figured it was worth a shot... it's only been 19 years since I sold it! LOL.

Kevin,
Will be easy to find. Look for the 12" white Robinson. He will have a stable of Robinsons with him.
Tell him I said hello, wish I could make it.

Much thanks to Stevebven,I know have my candy red Judge back in my posession.I sold uit around 4-5 years ago,it lasted about 5 mins on a bmx newsgroup.Steven said it traded hands a few times, but thankfully nobody restored it.I sanded off the candy red on the downtube, and the forks. When I seen it on Ebay...well I about soiled myself.I had it at Rockford this past weekend,it wasnt complete, but I had to show it anyhow.Good things do happen, good luck with finding it

If those parts were red instead of blue, I'd say I had it for a while...lived in Crystal Lake back then. It had the same cranks, seat, and seat clamp, only in red, and had red Arayas. How spooky is that? I'd like to find that one as well.
