After all the responses I got from my prior post I did some reseach. I went to the site os-bmx.com, went to their forums and searched gt serial number. A guy had the same start of the number that I have. My number is 221452, his was 221161. The info on the forum said his was from Feb 1982 and his frame number was 1161 so I guess mine is Feb 1982 and the frame number is 1452. Why I have a 24 to the left and below the serial number I don't know, sounds like you're supposed to have a 2 or 4? Maybe I'll keep checking......

that very well could be a 24" frame, in 82 they were starting to come out with 24" cruisers and proud of it, but the fact that a 26" wheel fits in there puzzles me.
