By any chance, were you one of the guys from Rockville who hung out with us on our summer tour back in '83. That was one of the best stops of the tour, at least in the states anyways. Those Rockville guys showed us a good time while we were there. I remember riding around on a really expensive tandem race bike with Paul Addams. We were hoping not to destroy it because it was so expensive. We didn't, and all was well.

I see you got my messages "Lil Mr. Awesome"

Man I wish you and Craig could make the Rockford race this weekend. I'll send you guys both pics of what you missed, I'm sure there will be many faces from the past.

Now Geoff, what do we have to do to get you to post more on this site? I'll throw in a Guinness or two.
Deanna

Geoff,
I'm a club DJ too. About 11 years ago, I DJed for George Nahas (at Roxbury, now Miyagi's) who was one of the original owners of the Sunset Room.

Here's my Thurs and Sat gig in Long Beach www.v2ologbeach.com They say it's like Highlands in Hollywood (I've never been). MySpace.com/djjohnnyjohnson
Been strictly a club DJ for 20 years.

I'm on Vintage quite a bit. Met Deanna last year and am friends with Greg Hill. I used to race Paul Addams back in the day when he was in the states. From San Diego, raced from 78'- 85'.

and don't forget your friends with Eddie King that's what's most important!

We're going to miss you this year in Rockford.

Good to hear from you, Geoff. Is that the bar right by the freeway entrance? Wasn't that a popular bar for cops to hang out at. I know several years ago it was. One of my friend's dads was a cop, and he and his pals would always go there. It's funny, I used to drive by and see all of these stoney sounding bands playing there and wonder what was up. Anyways, good to hear from you. I don't get down the OC much, but let's get together for some beers. Hey, tell your parents hello for me.I always liked having your pops around at the races.
Greg Hill
Hey it's like an ol GT reunion...How are ya Mr. Bark and Mr. Scofield....? You guy's sure kicked *** during the GT days those were great memories for sure..Hope your both doing good..

Greg, it's good to hear from you. I've heard good things are going on for you. I figured they would. You were always a dedicated guy. Things are well on this end, teaching English, fishing saltwater bass tournaments and getting ready for 2 months of no work. Teaching isn't the highest paying job in the world, but it sure does have a nice schedule. Talk to you later.
