I've got a Hutch frame that I aquired in 91 or so from its owner after I broke the forks.

Since the Serial Number is on the bottom bracket, all indications are it is a Taiwan built frame. All in all, the frame is in decent "survivor shape"(no major dings, just old chrome and stickers that need replacing). I am pretty sure it is not a Raider frame, based on the fact that the vent holes are drilled, not stamped, and there are only two of them.

Ideally, I want a GT or Redline frame or???(I never drank the Hutch "kool aid").

If I throw this out on the Bay, or in the classifieds here, am I going to recoup enough to get a frame(and possibly forks) that I really want, or am I better off just keeping it forthe sake of having a rider?

First, it says "Hutch" on it, so you'll do fine if you put it up on the bay.
You have pics you can post? Shots of the whole frame, BB, and brake bridge would help ID this for you.
