DOOD!!! Got a letter today, someone is getting a nice care package in the mail...I'm ALWAYS hungry....

It's a 1984 - May.

Does it have a '4' below the serial number on the rear drop out?

If so it's a Pro Size frame.

As far as Santa Ana goes - maybe not.
Probably one of the first Huntington Beach-made GTs.

Nice score - Hutch deep H stem - LOL

Here's a pic of my 1984 GT Pro.
Got my frame and fork for $80 off ebay.
Joe P.
Thanks Andy! Not a pro size! It can be a Huntington even if the stickers say Santa Ana? PM me your address too Andy,I have something for you... Those SR Speedtraps on there?? Been looking for a set of those for my OM for a while! NICE!
BMX2112
sweet score Joe! ummm...so what you gonna do wit dat der stem?
Spicoli
did you guys see what that GT pro "nora cup" F&F went for on evilbay last week ..its looks like there moving into SE & Hutch territory...I'm glad I picked mine up a few months back.

good score Joe...luv dem old GTs
mcam
Damn Joe. Nice score. Measure the bars to be sure, as you know I need some Santa Ana pros
Kerry
holla at me on that stem!
agentheinz
Nora Cup...what a sticker will do. Those old "straight cut" GTs are nice though, but I kinda like the 84/5 ones, easy to find, affordable...especially the ones with the Mach One decals. Pro frames, just built with less expensive parts! (until '85, that is). Production moved overseas, then everything changed. I think the Mach shared a frame with the Interceptor at that point...

Joe, you should send it to Rod and have him fill the holes in the rear drops and put a flat TT end on it, then it will look right.

Just kiddin. Nice find. I will take the bars if mcam doesn't.
AndyDiamond
ha ha - nice one PAul.

HEY - NOTHING WRONG WITH 84 GTs!!!!
Same geometry as the earlier ones!

Santa Ana - only across the Zip code from Huntington Beach - lol
mcam
Yeah, but Andy cmon,..... that zipcode makes all the difference.... Straight cut vs angle cut.... its like looptail Quads vs Reynolds Quads....

Hmm... maybe thats my cue to start running...LOL
Joe P.
Mcam has dibs on the bars, I messaged him way early on,I will measure them tonight! When you say "straight cut" do you mean the GT logo behind the seat stay? Andrew, where are ya??? Yeah,I'm no GT guy,but when I see a Hutch stem and Hutch post,I say GIMME! Thing is actually in good shape, aside from the old school track mud on it! Andy,PM your address, wanted to finish up that unfinished business with ya! Brett, Kerry,I'm listening....
