Here's the Space Sled. I took it out on Memorial day. Lex and I rode the 2/4 and the S&S to an Arts Festival near our house.

BTW I hope Nick never gets a Kos. He'll have a fleet of big geese, and Hammond will find out and have him committed.

Ummm, Kyle, don't tell anyone, but that is also in the works. An old friend of mine said his brother still has one and I might be able pick it up from him friday when I'm in L.A. for Elysian.

If not, I'll see what I can get at the show from one of the Old School bros, or perhaps at Rockford?

Nice one Astro!! Love the tuff's & Powerlite bars!!
And Nick ya don't see 24" Z Rims too often that's for sure..... I need a 2by4 badly!!! I only need a 2by4 and a Mitygoose and then i've got em all from that era... It even hurts when i see other people's!!

Moose, you need me to walk you through how to get those decals off with a hair dryer?

Not sure on what chain I'll end up using.. something long though..

Martin, I believe late 81 or early 82 and I think they were only made for a couple years, but I'll leave that one to the time-line experts.

"And Nick ya don't see 24" Z Rims too often that's for sure" Meatpie, I have a set of Blue Z's as well for the cruisers.

"Is that your Moose Kyle???" That is "Babe The Blue Moose" She is now in my collection. She is my prized possesion. Kyle went all out on her and was/is really proud of her as am I. The only one other than my kids who will EVER own her is Kyle.

Astro, did you get those Tuffs from Darren Chan?
Astrodamus
Yes I did. He really hooked me up.

They were very economical because they had been painted black, so I spent a couple hours unpainting them and installing Skyway Tuff rebuild axel cups/kits. They came out pretty good for a rider.
Astrodamus
Hey ratbones.. I think I know who you be!

Emerald coast treating you well?

Thos two fours rocked

I had one fully stock and loved it
sk8bones
I don't have the Kos or the Moose anymore. I really loved them both. They left for new homes as stock as I could make them. I had to thin down. My collection was getting out of hand. I went back to an idea I had when I was a kid. I want one bike of each size (16, 20, 24, and 26). OK, and a few more for riding. In the 20"er category it was my Darrell Young from bitd or the Moose, and the Moose had to go. I'm just glad Babe is in proper hands. I sold the Kos because I bought some insane 26" wheels for a different bike. I could've rebuilt the Kos, but I built it right the first time and decided not to undo that. I'm still looking for a 26"er, but I have everything else now. After I get the 26"er I'll just refine what I have. Of course I say that now, but I've been looking for a Stingray to build a Scrambler out of. LOL

Yo... Astrodamus, when I saw this thread, I was like ooo...24inch cruiser, I had one of those. But you straight beat me to it, that is me jumping off the roof on the 24. I am 18 and about three weeks away from breaking my collar bone on that cruiser. I traded that cruiser to a fool and then he traded it with Darrell Chan. I think he might still have it. I still have the bullseye hubs and the cranks. It was good race bike but it was too hard to jump.........thanx 4 posting my pics.....jp

George, that is gonna look killah, can't wait to see it finished!
Astrodamus
I hope you don't mind me linking your pics. (I should've asked.. ack! my bad!)

I love those pics you have! I never get tired of looking at them.

Guys if you haven't checked out jpbmxfool's site, go to www.gridlock.com and click on the BMX link on the right. You won't be sorry!

George, you're right, JP has an awesome site. However, all I was able to stomach was 16 pics. After seeing boob letting that Moose fly like that, I had to get out of Dodge quickly...Poor lil Moose...
