Has anyone heard of TRS racing bikes? They were around in the late 80's early 90's. From what I understand they were a small co, and were not in business very long.

TRS was David Little from Stillwell, Ks. They had a vendor trailer and had frames made. Brian Pascal and Greg Turnage rode for him. He moved out here to Sacramento in 86 or so and that was about the end of it, without daddy to keep him under control nothing more happened with it. His trailer became the R&C Racing/Bomber vendor trailer and hit ABA Nationals well into the mid 90s.

I have one of their frame and fork sets. I have had it for probably 12years or so. Are they worth anything?

man there is a name i haven't heard in years.
i ran into them at hawkeye downs in IA. in 83.
the guy i raced against in the pit bike race was a big dude at the time, i don't know if that was dave little or not. i have a brochure he gave me. very wierd frames. i think they were like a bandito. double drops front and rear. they had a tandem pit there that time also. i will dig up that brochure.

The family name was a wee bit decieving.

I can post photo's if there is any interest. It has been repainted but it was black origianlly. My son races and he didnt want black so it is now orange. He has since bought another bike. I thought it was pretty cool that the bike that I used to race, my son raced for a while.

Also this frame looks very similar to most racing frames of the time. I purchased it from a local pro years ago. He told me a little about it at the time but I never checked into any of it. It is a good strong frame and is lighter than some cromo frames today.

Anyone, anyone?

i want to see it!!!

oh its good to be a packrat sometimes. found the brochure.
TRS unlimited. and what did that stand for?
T-trick riding
R-racing
s-street riding.
and these things were freakier than i thought.
their double drops were to run 2 different sizes of wheels. thats right the trs convert sr. ran 20 and 24 in. wheels and the convert jr. ran 20 and 16 in. wheels.
210.00 would get you the sr. or jr.
375.00 for the tandem jr.
they also had an aluminum mini for 185.00
fully machined and hand fitted in the usa.
ok, so who made these things? voris?
has a 5 in head tube, but cw looking geometry.
kevin, is your frame like this.
post some pics.

By what you are saying it got me thinking this may not be a TRS. It has a 4" head tube and single drops. Like I said it looks like what any other racing frame looked like and some still look like. I will try and get some photos for you this weekend. I have had it for probably 12 years or so and the guy I bought it from had ir for probably 5-7 before that so its old.
RandyS
I don't know anything about the early stuff but the later TRS stuff was just a standard looking frame. ie Free Agent ish.

I have a few photos but how do I post them?
BShute
I guess Kevin never figured out how to post the pictures. too bad.

but Randy you were right. without his fathers guiding him I would say he was lost. the reason I quit the team was it wasn't really all together. but I did have fun while there.
going to the ABA grands from Kansas to Oaklahoma in his El Camino at 140 mph was a trip.

I have an old picture of Dave Little from Riverside when we went to Lake Elsinore supertrack.

he kept Bs'ing that he also knew Mike Dominquez. I called his bluff then he drove me to the Wax Museum in L.A. and behind it. there's a block wall about 9' high and all I saw was this guy coming out above it. needless to say it was Mike riding his ramp in what was his backyard. so that was shocking to meet him....lol
