they are .... and .... they didn't
DC aquired them from DC both of which are very reputable sellers and people ... those were prototypes of an idea that never had time to come to fruwition
one off - with no frame to mate it with, sadly

Whatever Tim. They would look great on a bike & being one off, I'm sure they would be taken care of! I like stuff in its original state as much as you but they would look great on a bike. Or just get ya wallet out & get them yourself.
Edit...I agree with The Devil on leaving them raw dog but WOULD look killer on a build

Yeah, that "light oxidation" looks somewhat more than light. I think a chrome job would be fine. Or powder 'em. I mean, if you're so worried about their Rushmore uniqueness, might as well not build 'em.

Those are nice and I would have to question whether a 26" frame exist now?
I have lurked and watched around here for awhile before joining and have noticed that whenever certain people think something does not exist they blow it out of the water. Well I imagine this fork would have been one of those things as well had this not been a highly reputable seller and possibly friend of some people here. Not to tick anyone off just stating something anyone could notice.
Now I would chrome that thing or powder it to match something nice in my stable....unless a one off JMC 26" would materialize.
Now I had heard rumors and Jim Melton would be the one to answer that JMC was trying to break into the Mt. Bike industry at one time. Could this be one of the forks for a Mt Bike or a true one off 26" BMX?

Darren doesn't sell fake stuff. And yup, JM himself is bidding! Hope all potential bidders are paying attention, I'd like to see Jim have them too.

A quick note to those that would powder or chrome those forks. Those are prototype forks. They were never used or finished and I would doubt they are sound to ride on. Those have always been and are meant to be wall hangers. Buy them but I sure wouldn't use them on anything that will be ridden or all you'll want for x-mas is.....well you get it.
