Seller describes as a 25 year old bike but check this out it looks awfully like and has the same parts other than the tuffs and tyres, as a recently released mongoose replica. Does anyone know this seller? What do you think?

I just sent the seller a message asking for the serial number. That may help determine the true age of the frame. But I think it is one of the repro Goose's.

I like the way that he said that he just got it rechromed.... Also built out of nos parts...
If you are a member on here i wouldn't tell anyone that it's you selling it. That's for sure!! Let the witch hunt begin..

It's hard enough for us to find old school bikes and parts without retards like the one who listed the repro Goose trying to do people out of their hard earned cash by means of fraud. I think that if the person is located they should be dobbed into ebay.

It is definatly a replica 81 Goose ... I've got 1 myself... You can tell by the hole in the gusset.
I wasn't happy with the way that they made em like that.. But maybe they were done like that 4 a reason??? As in this case...

I think there is an ebay dispute console for such things like this. If he is found to be breaking ebay rules he will be banned. In my opinion he is commiting fraud.

Good morning fella's. I saw that thing last night. I reported it as a fake. Waiting for them to get back too me. Hopfully if enough of us report this dirt bag they'll pull it, and ban him from selling more fakes.

also the rear dropouts on the old gooses were an angle down to the axle slot. the reps are a curve making the dropout shorter......that one has the short dropout for sure. 25 years???? more like 25 days.

not only is the bike less collectable now, the seller has no chance of getting those original repop stickers to turn it back to somthing half collectable.

thats a real goose dropout of bmx museum it seems longer and where it changes to more like horizontal type line at the top of the dropout seem more sharply cut where as don't quote but looks like the dropouts more rounded at that change also as someone else mention its eems shorter on the repros. I thought this was interesting as I saw it and thought something looked strange about it.
Edit I put onto some program on my computer and zoomed in on the dropout and it seems like the bottom is alo heavily rounded unlike the one in that pic which is got squared off sort of corners.
Also for people who do have a repro does the welding look like on the old one or like a average weld from assembly line like on most bikes these days.

bully that drop is from the later looptails
just look at the chain wheel, identical to the repro and not a snow flake or spider ring combo, a spooky co-incidence ????
and the circular hole in the double gusset it looks
different to the original models, the chamfer ?? seems to be a larger diameter than the originals

what a tw@t

well it would seem the seller has decided to pull the sale as to weather ebay forced him or not i guess we will never know but good to see one less person getting ripped off.
