Hi,
I recently found this stem. It seems to be that the DK logo has been changed into this lettercombination: IB (picture will come!). The main big bolt says 88... but have big doubts that the stem is from 1988! The logo is near the same as the known DK logo. BUT, only if you twist the top part from the stem (there where the logo is) than you can read the letters IB. So when you turn it again to the stand similar like the DK logo than it is a very strange combination. I have doubt that it is made for 1 stem as it done pretty professional and that the stem has the same shape as all the mini DK's. Like I said picture will come. Would you please explain me what is going on with this stem? Thank you so much.

Well, considering how shallow the original DK engraving was it would not be too difficult to polish off the original and then have it customized. The cap is dead-on a DK so my guess is that it was customized with someone's initials.

ok this is gonna be a tough one I guess then...
...I mean to find out whos initials these are actually!
But in my personal(!) opinion I truly think it was done by the guys/women of DK. It is not that I have doubts about other suggestions, actually am open for any comments! Thanks.

But what so strange is, is that when you compair it with a regular mini DK stem with the original logo the right way it sure is a strange design. All I know is that I didn't made it!

Perhaps it would be more clear if I am gonna measure the holes in the cap of this one and the holes of a DK stemcap and see if there is any difference!
