Hi everyone I'm Morgster - new to the forum and I'm already hooked and awaiting delivery of my newly aquired PK Ripper. I only joined the forum at the weekend and I got so hooked I bought the bike last night!

I live in the UK and just turned 35 so I'm old school all the way. Back in the day I had a few BMX's, my first ride was an Ammaco, followed by a Firebird Freestyler, GT Mach one and GT Pro. Unfortunately I sold or swapped them years ago and miss those bikes big time.

I also ride MTB's and probably guess a few of you guys do too but there's just something really special about BMX that has never died in my heart.

So anyways - enough of the tear jerking **** - Hi everyone, I'll be asking for some guidence on bits and bobs for the ripper for sure and I'll post some picks when I get it. I'm also going down to search my parents loft to see if there's any old BMX mags (or parts) lying around.

Here's a couple of oldies that i scanned a while back -

It's a worldwide disease for sure. It's very addictive isn't it. I got on the net looking for a chainwheel for my flights. 1 year later I have a pile of stuff and half a dozen rebuilds.
Welcome and good luck!

Extremely addictive!

I got on the net just to find a decent "fun" bmx bike. I got an '05 PK and now I'm officially hooked. Now I find myself trying to figure out what old/mid school ride I'm going to pick up. My wife thinks I've gone crazy. She had now idea I could figure out a new way to spend money..ha ha.

Welcome, I am sure one BMX will not be enough for you. Next you will probably want those old bikes you hade years ago like the rest of us. I thought, OK I am just going to do my one Kuwahara LaserLite and that was it, a few years later and now I have 5 Kuwahara's, two more project bikes, boxes of parts and no end in sight...I need help. You too will probably need help as well. Welcome!!
