Both my brother & I quickly outgrew our Redline MXII a very early 1980/1(??) model , so it is now hanging up on the wall as a piece of unrestored "art" as it has a lot of sentimental value from riding , racing & river jumping throughout it's time with us , the bike itself was the first US name brand BMX we owned & a real status symbol bitd to have as a bike to ride around on , it will probably never get sold & hopefully his son will grow up & take an interest in wanting to ride it around like we did.

Pending on the sentimental value you have attached to the bikes , try & pick one of them that really means something to you & put it up on a wall somewhere , for future use or as a reminder of what were possibly the best times of your early childhood , as opposed to your current later childhood now

Hopefully that mongoose pro class 24 does not have a great a sentimental value to you , unless it was permanantly attached to you when you were 11 or 12 years old & don't plan on turning into a piece of wall art for the future. I'll gladly buy the unrestored 24 inch mongoose treasure you have at a non ebay price , as it was the best riding 24 inch bike I ever got to test ride when I worked at a bikeshop bitd , but could never afford to buy one on my meager after school wages...sob.

All true , the bikes we own now are good looking riders , that we owned bitd or wanted to own bitd as they were c00l , rare or prestigious to have , to us thats what collecting , restoring & _riding_ our old school BMX bikes is all about.
