here is a photo of my patterson at a recent bike show in melbourne and it is true 95% of this bike is how I found it thanks to the original owner

What year is that bike? I assume it is of 70's vintage....... Beautiful Bike!

the decals are original the only things that I changed are the spokes (old one beyond repair)
rear tyre (perished) the cranks and chainwheel(very rusted) the rest of the bike is as found just cleaned up. The serial #00432 I beleive it is an 1982 model

Mate - that is totally awesome.
The DiaComp centrepull caliper is a real find (in gold!) and that full set of mint, early Patterson pads is unreal.
Wicked.
What sort of stem and bars does it have?
The only thing I would change is the number plate - find a Uni plate

the stem is a gold proneck in the same condition as the bike the bars early gt santa ana and the 24 in the background is another one of my bikes it is also a survivor.
